Brent Jaynes

Brent Jaynes

Mr. Jaynes is one of the co-founding members and principal of Leisure Real Estate Advisors, LLC with over 21 years of investment real estate and hotel brokerage experience. His wide range of real estate expertise and advanced training establish him as a valued partner in today’s complex hotel real estate environment.

Prior to joining Leisure Real Estate Advisors, he was director of Investment Property  with a regional commercial real estate firm where he conducted marketing and sales programs for over 100 million dollars in investment real estate. He has extensive experience in marketing, negotiation and closing a diverse array of multi million dollar hospitality transactions, of which earned him the designation of “Top producer” four of his last five years with the firm. Since its inception in 1998 and under the direction of Mr. Jaynes, Leisure Real Estate Advisors has doubled its yearly listing and closing volume to become one of the national leaders in hotel brokerage. Collectively, Leisure’s brokerage team has represented over 500 million dollars in transactions.

Mr. Jaynes growing client list includes a broad range of owners including banks, individual owners, multi property partnerships, regional hotel companies and national investment groups.

Mr. Jaynes received his undergraduate training from Kansas State University and his doctoral with honors at University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he also served as assistant professor for graduate students.

Mr. Jaynes has been active member of the community as a volunteer in local civic organizations. Mr. Jaynes has served as president of the Overland Park South Rotary Club, past chairman of the Corporate Woods Jazz Festival and as a member of the Kansas City Christian Academy Board of Directors.  For over 20 years he has been also involved with middle school youth as a head football coach.

Rick Hagerman

Richard Hagerman joined Leisure Real Estate Advisors, LLC as a Senior Associate in 2004.

Mr. Hagerman’s experience in originating, structuring and acquiring investments within the hotel real estate industry is unsurpassed. With the completion of over 96 acquisitions, dispositions and asset restructurings totaling over $400 million, his expert track record speaks for itself.

As Director of Real Estate for American Executive Management Company, he served as lead manager in brokerage and site acquisition and was actively involved in developing national strategic alliances with hotel investors, developers, and financial institutions. As Director of Real Estate Acquisitions for Selco, he assisted in the placement of over $130 million in debt and equity to facilitate several acquisitions through Bear Stearns and Westinghouse; he was also previously responsible for negotiating the successful ownership transfer in properties such as the Royal Plaza Hotel in Disney Village, Hilton Inn Hotel in Myrtle Beach, and the Doubletree Inn in Scottsdale, and more.

Mr. Hagerman received his Bachelor of Science degree at Kansas State University with a minor in Psychology.

Mike Works

Mike Works joined Leisure Real Estate Advisors, LLC as a Senior Associate in 2004.

As the previous owner of Midwest Hotel Motel Brokers, LLC, located in Lincoln , Nebraska , and as the owner and operator of several hotels and motels in the Midwest , Mr. Works brings extensive experience in overall operations management of hotels and motels, including arranging multi-million dollar financing and re-financing.

Prior to entering the hotel brokerage business, Mr. Works served as a staff attorney with the Nebraska State Court of Appeals and worked as legal counsel for a large hotel ownership and hotel brokerage company located in Lincoln, Nebraska, handling closings and contract issues. His legal endeavors give Mr. Works extensive experience in hotel brokerage legal matters including contractual obligations and zoning and subdivision regulations.

Mr. Works earned his Bachelor’s degree with high distinction from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska, where he given the award of Outstanding Liberal Arts Student. He also graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. He is a member of the Bar in both Wisconsin and Nebraska.
